Her fur feels about as good as it looks – when she lived with my aunt she received the nickname “velveteen kitty.” I have always described the feel of her fur as creamy. As opposed to her late “sister” Alley whose fur was also very soft, but more of a sleek texture than Misty’s. In the dark I could pet one and tell who it was by the feel of her fur. Although usually Alley’s stompy footsteps had already given it away.
