Misty Grey

She has things to do, like occupying sunbeams, drinking out of the bathroom sink, and being beautiful – on four legs, or three!

Sunshine Kitty says “Good morning!”

Just saying hi. This is the end of my third week at the new job. Misty seems to be glad to see me when I get home, she gets very cuddly. And in the mornings too. She seems to be having trouble keeping things in the litterbox again, I’m trying he to figure out how to help her with that. Trying a new “senior kitty” litter by Dr.Elsey – let’s see if that helps.

Aww pretty kitty! Your photos always make us smile.

Wish I had some kind of tips to suggest about the litter box issue. Drats! Let us know if the new stuff works. I wonder how kitty litter is different for seniors? See, I don’t know much about cats, well, practically nothing, but it’s nice that you’re teaching us. Thanks!

The main thing about this litter is that it is made of a lighter crystal marerial and so should be easier for a frail paw (or a single front paw while a three legged kitty is balancing, I’m hoping) to dig through. It is also low-dust which is a requirement for us humans’ comfort, and due to the crystal nature it is supposed to not stick to the cat – which will hopefully help her avoid litter-clumped paws. She seems to like it so far, but I’ve noticed she is only using it for #2. For #1 she is going in the box of regular litter I left beside it. Since she started using it, no poopy paws. Let’s see if that persists.
