Misty Grey

She has things to do, like occupying sunbeams, drinking out of the bathroom sink, and being beautiful – on four legs, or three!

05-21-14 – 8 Weeks After Surgery – Soggy Kitty

This is Misty waiting for her breakfast, still all soggy after getting her ear meds. Ugh, is it really only Day 2 of the ten days we’re going to have to do this? She ran away from me this evening when I offered her treats. ðŸ™

That’s the ticket Misty! Run away when she comes at ya with the ear meds! Wish I was little enough to hide under the bed like you can!

Lol running away would have made more sense if she did it BEFORE I gave her the ear drops instead of after. I was offering her treats! As an apology and to make up for the ear meds.

She always looks cute when she is anticipating a dish of food. Sometimes when I open the fridge to get her food out (or to get my own food out) she walks up and sits down between the open door and the fridge and stares into the fridge like she is trying to decide what she wants, and starts purring. When I am ready to close the door I ease it closed to touch her gently with it and she turns around and looks at it like she is offended that it interrupted her contemplation. She will get up, move inward a few inches and sit back down again and resume purring/staring. Sometimes we have to repeat this process 3-4 times before I am allowed to shut the door. The open fridge door just makes her so happy!

A “soggy eared” cat never looked so cute!! Great picture!!
Sorry Misty’s having to endure this “indignity” on top of everything else……ugh!

Misty’s doing great though, in spte of everything. And goodness knows, she’s a very loved kitty!

Hugs!
